Turkish PM calls main opposition leader a ‘sick man’

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu has severely chastised Republican People’s Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu for casting blame on the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) government for trying to protect “thieves and child abusers,” calling the main opposition head a “sick man.”

“It is not possible for us to stand behind any bad action or word. Although this is the situation, the sick man heading the CHP has left the case aside and left the pervert aside too and started to attack us. He hasn’t been able to slow down and started attacking here and there, everywhere. With this speech yesterday, he has once more displayed that he is a pathological case in need of treatment. He has lost all the elections that he entered. Kılıçdaroğlu needs to undergo a medical treatment first and then he should be given a moral lesson,” Davutoğlu said on April 13.

“Neither the institution of politics and our nation nor our citizens who voted for the CHP deserve this sick man,” he said.
