Turkish PM bids farewell to his uncle in Istanbul

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the funeral of his uncle Kemal Mutlu, who died on Jan. 24, along with many politicians and bureaucrats in Istanbul.Mutlu, 84, was buried in the Kulaksız Cemetery in Kasımpaşa neighborhood of Istanbul, after a prayer at the Büyük Piyalepaşa Mosque in Kasımpaşa. Erdoğan shed tears during the prayer. The funeral was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdağ, Customs and Trade Minister Hayati Yazıcı, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Taner Yıldız, Environment and Urban Development Minister Erdoğan Bayraktar, Transportation Minister Binali Yıldırım, former Interior Minister İdris Naim Şahin, ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) deputy head Numan Kurtulmuş, Istanbul Gov. Hüseyin Avni Mutlu, Istanbul Mayor Kadir Topbaş and Istanbul chief of police Hüseyin Çapkın.
