Turkish man moves father’s house on top of own house
Sinop
A man has moved his father’s house on top of his own house in the northern Turkish province of Sinop.
According to a report published by Demirören News Agency on Oct. 24, Erdoğan Kalyoncu from Sinop’s Erfelek district inherited a wooden house from his late father.
His father’s house was four kilometers away from Kalyoncu’s own house. The man wanted to sell the land on which his father’s house was but kept the house itself.
“It was the only thing left from my father. I wanted to keep this house,” Kalyoncu told the agency when asked about his unusual decision to move the building.
A crane moved the wooden house on top of the concrete one under the amazed gaze of passersby, the agency said.
