Turkish man arrested for ‘insulting president, PM’ on emergency line

The man, identified as İsmail B., reportedly called police line 155 while he was drinking alcohol and insulted the president, the prime minister and other public officials on the phone.
Police detained İsmail B. over his call and transferred him to court after taking his testimony.
Accordingly, a local court ruled for the arrest of İsmail B. on a charge of “insulting public officials.”
