A government official has slammed some media coverage alleging fraud in the presidential elections after presidential candidate Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was seen leading in the polls, saying the reports could not change the reality.

“Some media organizations seem to boost fraud claims as they see the results,” Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ said on his Twitter account right after the election results started to be reported by the media. “No bubble can cover up the reality.”

Bozdağ did not elaborate as to which media organization reported the claims or the nature of the allegations.
