Turkish, Iranian foreign ministers speak by phone over protests in Iran

ANKARA

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu held a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Javad Zarif on Jan. 2, diplomatic sources said. 

The two ministers exchanged views on protests happening in Iran, they said, without elaborating further.
