Turkish energy minister goes to Azerbaijan to discuss gas issues

Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yıldız will be in Baku today to attend the “Turkey-Azerbaijan Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council Meeting.”According to data from the ministry, the meeting will begin on Feb. 12 with opening remarks by Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev and European Commission Vice-President Maroš Šefčovič.
Azerbaijan Energy Minister Natiq Aliyev, Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Minister Kakhaber Kaladze, Greek Minister of Environmental Affairs and Energy Patagiotis Lafazanis, Albanian Energy Minister Damian Gjiknuri, Bulgarian Energy Minister Temenujka Petkova and Italian deputy Industry Minister Claudio De Vincenti will also attend the meeting.
High representatives of the Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Project (TANAP) and Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) projects will be attending the meeting.
The latest status of the TANAP and TAP projects will be discussed in Baku.
