Turkish driver drowns in lake after losing control of van

A Turkish man has drowned in a lake in the northern Turkish province of Samsun after losing control of his van.
Local media reported that passersby saw the driver, identified as Turan Sarıoğlu, struggling to get out of his van after it fell into Suat Uğurlu Dam Lake in the Ayvacık district on Oct. 15.
Reports said the 55-year-old driver could not escape from the van and drowned.
His body was later removed from the van by police divers.
