Turkish defense firm introduces amphibious assault car
ISTANBUL – Anadolu Agency
A Turkish defense firm on May 1 introduced its armored amphibious assault vehicle named ZAHA.
The vehicle was designed to meet requirements of the Turkish Naval Forces, said Nail Kurt, CEO of FNSS, at a defense fair in Istanbul.
Speaking at the ZAHA prototype launch, he noted that the armored amphibious assault vehicle can be produced by only a limited number of countries in the world.
Kurt added that within the scope of this project FNSS would produce a total of 27 vehicles.
"Deliveries will start in 2021 and complete in 2022," Kurt underlined.
Kurt highlighted that 21-personnel-capacity ZAHA's tests will be completed within two years.
