Eroglu, who has 15 days to form the government, was quoted by AFP as telling reporters that he expected to submit the list of ministers to Turkish Cypriot leader Mehmet Ali Talat by next Tuesday.
Talat will remain in charge of peace negotiations aimed at reunifying Cyprus.
The UBP's victory has raised concerns over the reunification negotiations, although he moved quickly to assure the international community the talks would continue.
The center-left Republican Turkish Party, or CTP, which supports Talat won just 15 of the 50 seats in parliament against 26 for the nationalists.
