Kahve Dünyası, a local coffee chain owned by Turkey’s Altınmarka, has opened its first overseas branch in London, a press statement by the company said yesterday.
Located in the bustling Piccadilly Circus, the two-story 560-square-meter store will introduce patrons to Turkish coffee and Turkish delight.
More stores to come
The company has carried the brand overseas with its own equity capital, the statement read, adding that the investment of 3 million pounds ($4.7 million) in the London branch is the first of many to come.
“In the next five years we aim to open stores in cities like New York, Moscow, Dubai and Vienna in addition to new opportunities in London, thereby carrying Turkish culture to different spots,” said Kahve Dünyası Vice Chairperson and General Manager Alev Altınkılıç
