Turkish Central Bank’s price hike expectation up

Turkey’s Central Bank revised its year-end inflation expectation to 7.61 percent yesterday, 0.14 points higher than a previous estimate.According to the second expectation survey for April, year-end current account deficit will stand at $64.9 billion, up from a previous $64.3 billion stated in the first survey for April.
The expectation on the value of the United State’s dollar against the Turkish Lira decreased to 1.7969 from 1.8007 in the previous survey.
The bank made no revision to its expected growth rate which remained at 3.7 percent.
