Turkish Airlines launches Ankara-Paris flights
ANKARA
Turkey’s national flag carrier Turkish Airlines has launched direct flights between Ankara and Paris on Oct. 31.
TAV Ankara Esenboğa Airport general manager Nuray Demirer said flights to and from Paris would be scheduled every Tuesday and Saturday.
The first flight in the new schedule, carrying 151 passengers, took off from Ankara for Paris after a ceremony at the airport.
Turkish Airlines flies to over 300 destinations worldwide with its fleet of 329 passenger planes and cargo planes.
In the recently published 2017 Skytrax survey, Turkish Airlines, having been named the Best Airline in Europe between 2011 and 2016, was chosen as the Best Airline in Southern Europe for the ninth year in a row.
