Turkish Airlines has extended its cancelation of all flights to and from Egypt’s Sharm el-Sheikh until Nov. 30 due to security concerns, Turkey’s national air carrier announced on Nov. 15.“Because of security issues over the airfield of Sharm el-Sheikh, our flights have been mutually canceled till Nov. 30, 2015,” the company said in a statement.
“In the current situation, plans for the evacuation of passengers who are still in Sharm el-Sheikh will be shared later,” it said.
Turkish Airlines canceled its flights to and from Sharm el-Sheikh due to security concerns on Nov. 5, following Russian passenger jet’s crash in the peninsula that killed all 224 people.
