Turkey’s public offices to switch to F keyboard in 2017
ISTANBUL
Speaking at an event in Istanbul, Erdem, who is also the head of the Turkish Language and Literature Association (TDED), said public employees will switch to the F keyboard on their work computers as it is considered to be more compatible with the Turkish language.
Erdem added that the keyboards to be used will include new standards, such as extra keys for circumflex accents and the Turkish Lira symbol.
“Preparations are ongoing,” he said.
