Turkey guest of honor at Italian tourism fair

The 14th Mediterranean Tourism Archaeology Fair will start on Nov. 17 in the Italian city of Paestum with Turkey accorded the status of guest of honor. During the event, Turkey will have a stand and promote museum-related events in the country along with its cultural values and archaeological excavations. On the second day of the fair, Turkey will host a dinner.
Turkish Culture and Tourism Minister Ertuğrul Günay is expected to attend the fair and deliver a speech at the opening ceremony.
A number of participants from nearly 30 countries will attend the fair, according to reports
