Turkey firm on helping Afghanistan

The Turkish Foreign Ministry has stated that Turkey is determined to pursue its contributions in restoring security, stability and peace in Afghanistan.

Releasing a statement on the 91st anniversary of an alliance agreement between Turkey and Afghanistan, the ministry said the anniversary confirmed the strong friendly relations between the two countries. Turkey was determined to contribute to restoring security, stability and peace in Afghanistan within the scope of close cooperation and solidarity with Afghan government and people, the statement said.
