The Tunisian children’s magazine “Kaws Kouzah” recently published detailed step-by-step instructions for making a Molotov cocktail, Russia Today reported yesterday. The magazine now faces a lawsuit for endangering children’s lives.

The Tunisian Ministry for Women and Family Affairs has expressed concern that the article’s content poses a threat to children’s lives, as it “encourages” the use of Molotov cocktails in acts of “vandalism or terrorism.”

The piece, published in the magazine’s “knowledge corner” section, contained detailed instructions for the assembly of a Molotov cocktail. Employing colorful illustrations, it read: “A Molotov cocktail is a homemade incendiary weapon that consists of a glass bottle and a folded cloth dipped in a flammable liquid – oil, alcohol or petrol,” and went on to say “The unit should be ignited and thrown at the enemy. After initial contact, the bottle breaks and penetrates the target.”
