Trumpet master to play live in Istanbul

Master jazz trumpeter Nicholas Payton will give an unforgettable performance to jazz lovers in Istanbul tonight. The concert starts at 9:30 p.m. at Istanbul Jazz Center and tickets are available at Biletix booths.

 Payton took up the trumpet at the age of 4 and by the time he was 9, he was playing in the Young Tuxedo Brass Band alongside his bassist father. Payton also plays piano and sometimes uses both instruments simultaneously, accompanying his right-handed trumpet with left-handed chords.
