An exhibition titled “Humanitarian Tragedy in Syria,” funded by the Turkish Grand National Assembly (TGNA) and the Anatolia Agency, opened on June 29 at Istanbul’s Lütfi Kırdar Congress and Exhibitions Palace.

The exhibition focuses on the humanitarian tragedy currently unfolding in Syria, through photographs, in the scope of the 22nd General Meeting of the Europe Security and Collaboration Parliamentary Assembly (AGIPTA), attended by 350 guests from 56 different countries.

In the opening ceremony, attended by guests from 56 different countries from continents including North America, the Middle East and Europe, the TGNA president Cemil Çiçek and AGITPA president Wolfgang Grossruck delivered speeches.

The exhibition can be visited until July 3. After Istanbul, the exhibition will travel to Ankara.
