Three wanted PKK militants seen on camera in eastern Turkey

Photos of wanted militants were distributed to the press by the police, who asked the public to notify authorities if they saw any of them. The militants are being sought with rewards worth between 300,000 and 4 million Turkish Liras.
“A bounty will be rewarded to those who help security officers find the militants,” the statement released from the Siirt police read, adding that they believed the militants were currently in the provincial center.
Meanwhile, 13 people were detained in an operation launched against PKK militants in the southern province of Hatay on Nov. 2. According to a statement released by the Hatay Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, they were apprehended for membership in the Patriotic Revolutionary Youth Movement (YDG-H).
Also on Nov. 2, 10 people were detained in the eastern province of Elazığ, including the district heads of the Democratic Unity Party (DBP) and the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP). Searches were carried out at 14 addresses where documents allegedly related to the PKK- were found in some of them. The suspects were taken to the Elazığ Training and Research Hospital before being taken to police headquarters.
