Neighboring Greece’s efforts to climb out of the economic crisis with a comprehensive privatization plan involves selling only 3 percent of Greek land, not “one-third” as wrongly reported by the Hürriyet Daily News yesterday.Speaking to the Daily News on the sidelines of the “Privatizations in Greece and Opportunities” meeting held in Istanbul, Panos Protopsaltis, coordinator of the Privatization Program of the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRAD), said only three percent of Greek land was “for sale.” Protopsaltis also invited Turkish companies to invest in Greece.
