Ten people killed in car accidents, raising Eid death toll in Turkey

A total of 10 people were killed in two separate car accidents in the southeastern province of Gaziantep on the second day of Eid al-Adha, the Feast of the Sacrifice.One of the accidents occurred on the highway between the provinces of Şanlıurfa and Gaziantep, when seven people died and others injured after a car crashed into a minibus coming from the opposite direction.
Approximately 15 minutes after the first accident, on the road between Gaziantep and the district of Nizip, a collision between a tanker and a minibus killed three people and wounded many others.
Health and security teams rushed to the sites of both accidents.
Yesterday, during the first day of Eid al-Adha, a total of seven people died and 36 were injured in 17 separate traffic accidents across Turkey.
