Nurol GYO, the real estate investment arm of Nurol Holding, has started talks to acquire the Media Towers of Hürriyet Gazetecilik, the newspaper company, according to a filing to Istanbul Stock Exchange (İMKB) yesterday.

The talks proceeded in a high level of consensus, the filing said.

The complex consists of four real estate properties in the Güneşli neighborhood of Bağcılar district and included an area of 58,610-square-meters, the filing noted.

Hürriyet Gazetecilik revealed Jan. 25 that it had started talks with “an eager buyer” to sell Hürriyet Medya Towers, its main building in Istanbul, in a separate filing to the İMKB.
Hürriyet Gazetecilik also owns the Hürriyet Daily News.
