Swiss group acquires 4 labs

Swiss-based laboratory management SGS Group has acquired four food production laboratories in Turkey, but did not disclose a price tag.The sum of 2011 revenues for MSM Gıda Kontrol Laboratuarı, MRL Merkez Kalıntı Araştırma Laboratuarı, Sanılab and Özel Hatay, all of which are located in southern Turkey, are expected to stand at around 16 million Turkish Liras, according to Reuters data.
The SGS Group has a market value of 12.7 billion dollars, and its total profits for the first half of 2011 amounted to 246 million Swiss Francs, according to the data.
