Spanish flamenco to shake Istanbul tonight

Spanish flamenco singer Estrella Morente is giving a concert tonight at the CRR Concert Hall.

Spanish flamenco singer Estrella Morente is giving a concert tonight at the CRR Concert Hall. The
show starts at 8 p.m., and tickets are available at Biletix booths. Morente was born in 1980 in Las Gabias in the  southern Spanish province of Granada. She is the daughter of flamenco singer Enrique Morente and dancer Aurora Carbonell. She has performed with her father since she was 7 and recorded her first album in 2001, “Mi Cante Y Un Poema” (My Songs and A Poem). This was followed the same year by “Calle del Aire,” which was well received by critics and flamenco fans.
