Soldiers wounded in mine blast in southeastern Turkey

Four soldiers were wounded in a mine blast in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır today, Doğan News Agency has reported.

The blast reportedly erupted when mines that were planted on a road were detonated via remote control as a military convoy was passing by, in the Tavşantepe village between Bingöl and Diyarbakır’s Lice district.
 
Soldiers who were slightly injured in the blast were taken to the Lice State Hospital.

An operation has been launched to find those responsible for the attack.
