The government is ready to take steps to “settle the budget balances” and expects to agree with the fund on the timing and mechanism of tighter tax inspections, Şimşek told the newspaper in an interview in his constituency of Gaziantep in southern Turkey. Officials are also working on a new set of measures to ensure small businesses have access to lending, Şimşek said.
