Senior police officer found dead in his car in Ankara
ANKARA
A police chief working in Ankara Police Department’s Anti-smuggling and
Organized Crime Unit has been found dead in his car in Ankara’s Dikmen
district.
Authorities think police chief Hakan Yüksekdağ committed suicide by shooting
himself in the head with a gun, according to initial findings, Doğan News
Agency reported.
The late police chief, a father of two, had been working at
the Police Department in Ankara since
2011.
Yüksekdağ has been reported as having family issues and debts which may lead to
his distress.
