Salon İKSV to host Tamer Temel Quintet

The Tamer Temel Quintet, featuring Matthias Pichler, will perform at Salon İKSV tonight at 10:30 p.m. Temel is a graduate of the Siena Masterclass Summer Course, where he studied on a scholarship received from the Europe Jazz Festival in 2005. He has performed at various festivals and jazz clubs. He released his first album, “Barcelona,” in 2010. The Austrian contrabass player Matthias Pichler, who will share the stage with Tamer Temel in this first concert of the European Jazz Club series, won the Hans Koller Award in Austria in 2004 and 2006, as well as the International Double Bass Convention competition held in Berlin in 2010.
