Russia restores licences of 13 Turkish tour operators

MOSCOW
Russia’s federal tourism agency Rostourism restored 13 out of 19 licenses of Turkish-owned tour operators that were revoked as part of Moscow’s sanctions against Turkey last December, as reported by Russian media on March 16.

“The agency Rostourism inspected documents submitted by the tour operators and concluded that 13 companies and their subsidiaries have no apparent involvement in ownership by Turkish nationals or Turkish funds,” said the agency, adding that this development does not affect the sanctions regime that Russia has imposed on Turkey.

The restored licences belong to Coral Travel, Sanmar Tour, Aneks Regions, Anex Tour Moscow and Pegas Tours,” among others.
