Real Madrid hammers Efes Anadolu 103-57 in Euroleague

Anadolu Efes was humiliated in their road game against the Spanish giants Real Madrid 103-57 on Nov. 13, losing an opportunity to threaten their rivals in the fight for the top spot of the Euroleague Group B.Ioannis Bourousis led the “Merengues” with 17 points, while Nikola Mirotic and Jaycee Carroll also took 14 points apiece. Sergio Rodriguez provided the show for his team scoring 14 points in less than 20 minutes and dishing out 11 assists, including some sensational alley-hoop dunks. The Castilians lead the Group B with five wins in five games.
The Istanbul side who failed to challenge their rival’s pace in any department of the game have dropped to a 3-2 record. Scotty Hopson scored 13 for the Blues, while Kostas Vasileiadis added 11 points.
The other Istanbul sides are both set to play at home: Fenerbahçe Ülker will host Euroleague novices Nanterre on Nov. 14 while an injury-plagued Galatasaray Liv Hospital is set to challenge Bayern Munich on Nov. 15.
