Prisoner riot erupts in eastern Turkish province of Ardahan

Prisoners have started a riot by setting mattresses on fire at Ardahan Prison, Doğan news agency reported.

Ambulances and firefighters were sent to the prison immediately.

The cause of the riot remains unknown.
