Police detain 21 personnel at Turkey’s Radio and Television Supreme Council

ANKARA
Turkish police detained 21 employees of the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK) on Nov. 1 in five different provinces over their alleged links to U.S.-based Islamic preacher Fethullah Gülen, believed to have masterminded the July 15 coup attempt.

Ankara prosecutors had issued detention warrants for over 28 RTÜK personnel, including its vice head, specialists of its supreme board, and assistant specialists.
