Nakhcivan to welcome Turkic customs officials

The heads of the customs services of the Turkic-speaking countries will convene in a meeting in Nakhcivan, Azerbaijan on Oct. 5.According to a statement released on Oct. 2 from the Turkish Ministry of Customs and Trade, the topics to be covered at the meeting will be the Silk Road Enterprise, Caravanserai Project and ease of border crossings.
Turkey will be represented by a group of officials under the supervision of Turkish Deputy Minister of Trade and Customs Ziya Altunyaldız.
The meeting, which will be held for the first time, will also cover the subjects of countries’ social and economic cooperation and solutions for increasing trading capacities.
