Ministers discuss further Turkey-Belgium relations

Support for the car industry envisaged in the government’s new incentive scheme could lead to important developments in this field between Turkey and Belgium, Economy Minister Zafer Çağlayan said yesterday before a meeting with Ingrid Lieten, viceminister president of the Flemish Government in Belgium.Çağlayan said they would also discuss collaboration opportunities in the health and tourism sectors. Belgium has big plans in the automotive sector, like Turkey, said Lieten, adding that Belgium may shift to electric cars in the next 20 years.
