Turkish warplanes conducted two separate air operations on May 25 targeting outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) positions in the southeastern province of Mardin and northern Iraq.

Three PKK positions, including weapon positions and sanctuaries, were reportedly destroyed in an air operation conducted in rural Mardin.

In a separate operation in the Sinat and Haftanin regions of northern Iraq, Turkish warplanes hit one weapon position belonging to PKK militants.

The Turkish General Staff stated that the jets returned to their bases after completing the mission.
