Microsoft's wonder child dies at 16

The world’s youngest Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) Arfa Karim Randhawa died last Saturday at the age of 16 due to a heart attack caused by a severe epileptic attack.

Arfa had been in a coma for the past few weeks and had failed to recover.

The youngest computer genius had received her certificate from Microsoft when she was 9 years old, making her a legend among tech crowds. She had also met Microsoft creator Bill Gates, who had offered to pay for the expenses of treatment for her condition.

Arfa passed away in Pakistan before she could be brought to the United States for treatment.

Microsoft Certification is a reward system that allows participants to certify their skills to work with a global network of professionals.
