MHP leader criticizes government
ANKARA - Hürriyet Daily News
Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahçeli has accused the government of collaborating with a global conspiracy to spark the Arab Spring. What is known as the “Arab Spring” is the result of a game by global players to get rid of dictators and cause disorder in the name of democracy, Bahçeli has said. Global players chose to use all kinds of manipulation to reach their goal, Bahçeli said, adding that they always find a local collaborator. Such people are stationed in Western capitals like Paris, London and Brussels, and target capitals including Ankara, he said. “Those who participated in the Greater Middle East Project as co-chair, and fearlessly volunteered to participate in the regional separation project are only some part of the majority,” Bahçeli said. Bahçeli called for transparency about last week’s military helicopter crash, asking the government to clearly state whether the helicopter crashed due to engine malfunction or a terrorist attack perpetrated by the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).
