Love and Beauty in Galata Mevlevi House

The starting concert of IKSV Music Fest will be “Love and Beauty” at Galata Mevlevi House. The Galata Mevlevi House, the oldest known lodge of the Mevlevi order in Istanbul, will host a divine night of music with the Turkish Music Ensemble and leading soloists including one of the biggest voices of the genre, Münip Utandı, and the Archon Protopsaltes of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate, Leonidas Asteris, who will breathe new life into the wise words of Sheikh Galib. A perfect taste of Turkish music for all curious audiences, alongside the enthusiasts of the genre. The event takes place in collaboration with Istanbul University State Conservatory.
