Loan volume rises by 336 million liras

The Turkish banking sector’s total loan volume was up 336 million Turkish Liras in one week, reaching 745.136 billion liras from July 6 to July 13, according to the Banking Supervision and Regulation Agency’s (BRSA) weekly bulletin.According to the BRSA bulletin, excluding the financial sector, total loan volumes were up by 449 million liras to 680.2 billion liras July 6-13. The banking sector’s total loan volume was 745.136 billion liras.
Meanwhile, spot loans, excluding the financial sector, were down 454 million liras to 84.3 billion liras.
Including participation banks, but excluding the financial sector, consumer loans registered a 0.44 percent rise from 179.2 billion liras to 180.3 billion liras. Housing loans were at 78.8 million liras, 7.6 billion liras went towards vehicle loans and the remaining consumer loan categories accounted for 64.8 billion liras.
