LeBron James seizes lead in all-star voting

Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James grabbed the early lead in fans voting for the 2015 National Basketball Association all-star game.Two-time all-star game MVP James has a slim lead over Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry.
James, who has started 10 consecutive all-star games, has a league-best 552,967 votes, while Curry sits just behind him with 549,095 votes.
New York forward Carmelo Anthony (265,170) and Chicago's Pau Gasol (247,953) are on pace to start in the frontcourt for the Eastern Conference next to James. Washington point guard John Wall (299,209) and James' former teammate with Miami, Dwyane Wade (265,917), lead all East guards.
New Orleans Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis is third in overall voting with 524,623 votes. Lakers guard Kobe Bryant, who is off to his worst season since 2003-04, has 521,542.
Voting will continue through January 19 and the starters will be announced on January 22.
This season's game will be played February 15 at Madison Square Garden.
