Kasımpaşa’s Guinean footballer injured by thrown object, match put off

The referee of the Turkish Cup football match between Batman Petrolspor and Kasımpaşa, Özgür Yankaya, suspended the game on Oct. 30 in the second minute of extra time after a plastic bottle hit a footballer on the head.
Bengali Fode Koita, Kasımpaşa’s Guinean forward player, was hospitalized in Turkey’s southeastern province of Batman.
Paris-born former Montpellier and Blackburn footballer was in stable condition, Demirören News Agency reported.
Kasımpaşa was beating the home team 3-2 at the time of the incident.
