Japanese man to join ISIL captured in Turkey’s southeast

Gendarmerie teams captured the man identified as M.M. while searching a suspicious car.
The suspect confessed during an interrogation that he had come to the district to cross the border and join ISIL, saying he met a Syrian person on the phone and was convinced to join the jihadist group.
The man will be deported once his documentation at the courthouse is completed.
