Istanbul woman kills lesbian lover over cheating with a man

A woman in Istanbul has killed her female lover after she discovered her secret affair with a man, Turkish media reported on April 29.

According to İhlas news agency, 26-year-old H.C. invited 21-year-old S.D. to her sister’s house in Istanbul’s Esenyurt neighborhood. After her sister left the house, H.C. started to argue with S.D. over the secret affair, ultimately stabbing the woman in the chest.

Neighbors informed the police after hearing the couple’s screams. An ambulance transferred S.D. to Esenyurt State Hospital with fatal injuries. S.D. died in the hospital, while H.C. was detained by the police as murder suspect. The investigation is reportedly continuing.
