Istanbul police launches operation against drug trafficking

Anti Narcotics police of Istanbul kicked off an operation against drug trafficking in the city this morning in the Gazi District. 

The operation was accmopanied by police choppers.

Conducted by the Narcotics Branch Office with additional support from organized crime units, the operations included police raids in the neighborhoods of Akasya, Morlale, Şener and Enver. 

A number of suspects were detained. The operation is still continuing.
