Istanbul duo in league before European games

Galatasaray welcomes Istanbul BB on March 30 in its last Spor Toto Super League game before the crucial Real Madrid visit. 

The Lions will play against their Istanbul neighbors, but whether they can fully concentrate on the domestic game with the crucial trip to Spain looming remains a question. 

Galatasaray will play against Real Madrid in the Champions League first leg game on April 3. 
Galatasaray leads the Super League with 50 points, four ahead of arch-rival Fenerbahçe. 

Coached by former Galatasaray icon Bülent Korkmaz, Istanbul BB jumped out of the relegation zone with points it collected in recent weeks. Istanbul BB is 10th with 32 points. 

Also on March 30, Sivasspor hosts Orduspor and Gaziantepspor welcomes Eskişehirspor. 
On March 31, Fenerbahçe will try to keep pace with Galatasaray when it entertains relegation-battling Akhisar. 

Struggling minnows

The minnow Aegean side is battling bravely against demotion in its debut top-flight season, but it will have a difficult task at Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium. 

Fenerbahçe will meet Lazio in the Europa League quarterfinal first leg game on April 4, and, like Galatasaray, it will try to focus on the domestic battle ahead of a key European game. 

Also on March 31, Kasımpaşa and Bursaspor, fourth and fifth respectively, will have a key match in the battle for a European cup spot. 

Trabzonspor hosts Antalyaspor and Gençlerbirliği visits Elazığspor on March 31 as well.
