ISIL ‘emir’ killed in Turkish air strike in Syria: Army
ANKARA
Abu Ansari, one of the “emirs” of the jihadist group was killed on Dec. 30 in during a Turkish air operation in al-Bab.
Ebu Hussein Tunusi, another ISIL “emir” was killed also in an air strike on al-Bab, security sources claimed.
The vehicle holding Tunusi and bodyguards in his motorcade was reportedly hit during a Turkish air air strike on Dec. 29.
Tunusi had been chosen as an emir by ISIL and was transferred to al-Bab from the de-facto capital of the jihadist group, Raqqa.
