International dancers to take stage in Istanbul Dance Fest

The Istanbul Dance Festival is set to be held between April 2 and 6 at the Hilton Bosphorus Congress Center with dancers from around the world.

Considered one of the most popular dance festivals around the world, the 4th International Istanbul Dance Festival (IIDF) is set to be held between April 2 and 6 at the Hilton Bosphorus Congress Center.

The event will kick off on the night of April 2 with the Cuban salsa band Freddy Clan and Yanssel & Los Amigos Latin Orchestra.

On April 3, a carnival parade, starting from the hotel will continue with dance shows on the Abdi İpekçi Avenue in the Nişantaşı neighborhood. The same night will feature a concert by the world famous La Maxima 79.

On April 4, Zumba trainers from Turkey will gather for an event called Zumba Fitness against Violence.
During the festival, thousands of dance lovers from 80 countries will have the opportunity to see shows of world renowned dance trainers from the U.S., South America, Europe and the Balkans.

One of the most important shows at the festival will be titled “Dream and Masks,” aiming to show the possibility of overcoming any handicap. After the show, participants will be able to dance with the stars, and the night’s profits will be donated to a project for babies with cancer.
