Instructor chefs to gather in Istanbul
ISTANBUL
Mövenpick Hotel Istanbul’s Italian Executive Chef Giovanni Terracciano and acclaimed instructor chefs from the gastronomy and culinary arts departments of well-known universities and culinary academies will gather at the “Giovanni & Friends” event for Teacher’s Day on Nov. 24 to showcase an exclusive menu of tantalizing flavors.
Along with Terracciano, instructor chefs Doğa Çitçi of the Gaziantep Culinary Arts Center, Esen Blake of Istanbul Bilgi University, Gabriele Sponza of the İzmir University of Economics, Chef Mete Alpay of Le Corn D’Or Chef’s Atelier and Serkan Bozkurt of Chef’s Table Culinary Academy will present their signature dishes at AzzuR Restaurant.
Organized with a new theme each year, the seventh edition of “Giovanni & Friends” will start with a cocktail reception at 7:30 p.m. followed by a five-course gourmet dinner served at 8:30 p.m.
